Sharon Privett
Cornerstone Christian School Principal
I grew up between the sunny shores of California and the lush landscapes of Hawaii, where a strong foundation of faith and family was built. With a father who served in the Navy, and a mom as church pianist, I learned early about commitment, resilience, and the beauty of following God’s lead. I'm married to Michael, my best friend and resident comedian; we share a rich, blended family that includes “yours, mine, ours, and theirs”—a loving family network with 19 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
It was in grade school that I came to know Christ, my dad led me in the sinner’s prayer that would later shape a lifetime of ministry. For the past 48 years, I have served in Christian School education. Today, my greatest joy comes from daily interactions with students of all ages in the school setting, where the laughter, curiosity, and kindness of children bring a smile to my face each day.
What is your role at Cornerstone?
I am the Head of School/Principal K-12. I get the love on the CCS students, staff and families as well as grow with them in their educational journey. I get to use my gifts of administration and encouragement to help bring order and understanding to those who choose to be part of the Christian School experience.
