C-KiDS jr. Coordinator

I was born and raised in California, and I’ve been blessed to share my life with my husband Fred for 25 years. We have three wonderful children: two sons and a daughter, who bring so much joy and love into our lives.
I was raised by my mom to know and love Jesus, and that foundation stayed with me throughout my life. In 2020, I had the privilege of being baptized alongside my children, my brother, nieces, nephew, aunt, and cousins. It was a powerful moment for our family, a celebration of faith and a new chapter in our journey together.
I started volunteering in CKiDS jr. for two years, and during that time, I felt God was leading me to serve in children's ministry more intentionally. I saw how kids are naturally curious and full of energy, making it a fun and dynamic environment to teach in. From Bible stories to crafts, songs, and games, there’s so much creativity involved in engaging kids in ways that help them understand and connect with God. The most rewarding part has been seeing the light in their eyes as they learn about Jesus—it’s a beautiful experience that reminds me of the impact we can have in laying the foundation for their faith.
My favorite part about serving in children’s ministry is the opportunity to be a part of something bigger than myself—helping to guide and encourage children in their faith journey. There’s nothing quite like being a part of their discovery of God's love and the joy of seeing their hearts open to His truth.

What is your hope for Cornerstone?

My hope for my church is that it continues to be a vibrant, loving community where people of all ages, especially children, can grow in their faith and experience the transformative power of God's love. I pray that our church remains a place of warmth and encouragement where families can come together, support one another, and be equipped to share the gospel in their everyday lives.
