Melissa Greene
C-KiDS jr. Director
Hi, my name is Melissa Greene! I was born in North Carolina but moved and grew up in New Jersey at a young age. This is where I met my husband Christopher Greene who I have been married to for twenty-nine beautiful years. We have four children Chris, Christa, Christian, and Chrislyn, along with two dogs Cocoa and Oreo. I came to know Christ through my devout mother and grew up in the church. My mother in law is also a strong spiritual follower in Christ and brought my family and I closer to God so we can attend church services together.
I decided to work in children’s ministry because I feel as though God put it in my pathway by speaking to me in one of my first sermons I attended at Cornerstone. I saw they wanted new volunteers for the childcare department and I had a feeling that I wanted to join and help. Through God’s grace and blessings I was given the amazing opportunity to be able to work in C-KiDS jr. I have now been serving in C-KiDS jr. for ten years. My favorite thing about working with children is building a foundation for their faith, and seeing their spiritual faith grow. Another wonderful part of my job is our volunteers. They continually help us create this foundation for the children and without them, none of this would be possible.

What is your hope for Cornerstone?
My hope for Cornerstone is for our children’s and youth ministries to continue to nurture our youngest members. So, they can become leaders, missionaries, and passionate disciples of tomorrow. Continuing to invest in their spiritual growth is one of the most powerful ways to bring hope to Cornerstone.
