Summer Ride Series

This summer, the Cornerstone Mountain Bike Interest Group invites you (and your phone screen-weary crew) to join us for a laid-back series of Friday evening bike rides made for families, friends, and fun. We’re hoping it’s a little cooler, late enough after work, but still enough daylight. Whether you’re a trail regular or your bike has been living in the garage since 2022, we promise a good time and zero judgment.

Browse the options below and see which one(s) you’re interested in! You may register for multiple rides in the series. When registering, be sure to reserve how many will be joining per ride. All communications will be sent to the registering contact.

Ride #1 – “A Little Salty?”
Date:
7/11/25
Location: Salt Creek Trail – Menifee
Time: 7PM
This path that runs parallel to Newport Rd between Canyon Lake and the 215 freeway is flat, easy, and about 6 miles total out and back. So if anyone gets tired, they can turn around whenever they want. There are street crossings so keep an eye on the little shredders! We’ll park near A’s Pizza– 24370 Canyon Lake Dr N #2, Canyon Lake, CA 92587

Ride #2 – “A Ride With a View”
Date:
7/25/25
Location: The Levee – Lake Elsinore
Time: 7PM
We’ll park right next to The Diamond Stadium at 500 Diamond Drive, Lake Elsinore, CA 92530. There’s a small, free parking lot along the third base side near the entrance to the levee trail. The trail is perfectly flat with exercise equipment and some disc golf skills challenges along the way if you want to multitask! Out and back is about 7 miles, but you can turn back whenever you like depending on how your peloton is feeling.

Ride #3 – “Neighborhood Cruise”
Date:
8/1/25
Location: Meadowview Trail – Temecula
Time: 7PM
We’ll meet at Long Canyon Creek Park– 29657 N General Kearny Rd, Temecula, CA 92591 Long Canyon Creek Park, which has a pump track for those that want to get some extra credit! You can make this ride as short as a mile or do some loops to get more. There’s some very small inclines during this short ride, but most anyone should be able to handle it. Maybe a little Froyo or ice cream to cool us down after???
