Grant-Blackford names New Senior Finance Director

Grant-Blackford Mental Health announced today that Jonda Manwell will join the organization’s leadership team as senior finance director.

GBMH provides an array of acute and chronic behavioral health services and supports individuals and their families primarily in Grant and Blackford counties.

Manwell has more than 20 years of progressive financial management experience, beginning her career in banking and then moving into the non-profit arena. She most recently has been chief financial officer for Family Service Society, a Marion community-based organization focused on the overall well-being of children, adults and families by providing outpatient mental health and other services.

“Jonda’s impressive background in financial management and leadership makes her a great fit for this role at Grant Blackford,” said Dr. Marianne DiMatteo, GBMH chief executive officer. “We welcome her to our leadership team and look forward to her contributions in the financial management and overall leadership of our organization.”

Manwell will begin her new role at GBMH on Jan. 5, 2022.

“I have been incredibly fortunate to have experienced the last 14 years at Family Service Society,” Manwell said. “I have benefitted professionally, and personally, from leadership of the organization under both Connie Rose and Lisa Dominisse. I am deeply grateful for their mentoring and leadership, which has prepared me for this next opportunity. I am looking forward to my new role at Grant Blackford Mental Health and to be able to provide ongoing strength in financial management and reporting. As the organization continues to grow, it’s an exciting time to become a part of their team.”
