Position Title/Department:   Family Behavioral Specialist Therapist

Summary of Duties: 
Will function as a therapist for children and thier families in Grant and Blackford Counties. Will excercise a high level of independent judgement when working with clients. Will produce necessary documentation regarding families/clients including reporting to external agencies and courts. Will manage and coordinate a caseload including initiating planning for home visits or other contacts with clients in an effort to meet treatment plan goals. Will work as a member of the treatment team. Other duties as assigned by supervision.

Summary of Duties: 
Coordinate and supervise total nursing care for patients on the patient unit. Assess patients using systematic approach to establish a plan for patient care and implement reflecting pertinent physical and psychosocial problems. Coordinate staffing issues during shift, including new employee orientation, staff training, etc. Assume responsibility for implementation of adult and adolescent care policies and procedures. Must initiate and review treatment plans for all patients on the unit. Conduct admission interviews; provide leadership in crisis management, and patient medication and mental illness education. Must function in conformance with organizational policies, procedures, and Ethical Standards, as well as local, state, and federal regulations. This position will include weekends and holiday shift work.

Summary of Duties: 
A case coordinator establishes a therapeutic alliance with the client, works with the client to complete assessments and tools to determine level of care and need, assists the client in learning life skills that will enhance their quality of life and monitors psychiatric social functioning to ensure safety in the community. This can include but not limited to: (a) meeting with the client on a scheduled basis to assess current functioning and to teach skills, (b) providing assistance on behalf of the client, as needed in linkage with entitlements, service agencies and the medical community and (c) jointly developing a treatment plan and regularly assessing progress in achieving those goals.

Summary of Duties: 
Responsible for daily functioning of the assigned Supervised Group Living Home(s). Work with clients in a structured group setting with administrative assistance and clinical intervention available 24 hrs daily. Responsible for scheduling and orientation of staff and coordinate implementation of training for staff. Coordinate and monitor client medication needs with case manager. Assess crisis situations and determine the need for intervention. Employee shall function in compliance with all organizational policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal regulations and observe Ethical Standards and Confidentiality Standards at all times.
